I'm having one at the moment and I'd appreciate any tips to get through that. I find that it's comfortable to just drop the cards and avoid thinking about it. I have a Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) though! 😂 Especially since I run a tumblr and have reading requests to attend to.

Oh my, it is hard to get through a reading hump. What is going on when you try to read?

Dear galadhwen, so sorry that you're dealing with this reading hump. They are always so hard to deal with! It sounds like you're caught on a bit of a treadmill, if I do say so myself...I immediately thought of this video when you mentioned FOMO as a reason for wanting to keep on going, despite the hump (lol). I think that some in-person readings with a good friend always inspires and reinvigorates my energy for reading. Sometimes I read with one of my close friends who also is a Tarot enthusiast, and we talk about analyzing the cards and do readings for each other after a long day out and about (either getting something good to eat, writing/working in a cafe, watching a movie, etc). Other times, I reach out to a childhood friend who isn't familiar with the cards at all--we rediscover the cards together as I interpret her reading. I almost always go to my friend's place after a quick lunch or tea outside if I need a pick-me-up reading session. Anyway...hope that these work for you and that you get over this reading hump easily! Please let me know if you try these suggestions!
