So, it is close to that time of the year again!
Christmas trees and decorations are up and those heartfelt songs and tunes are being played everywhere.
How do you celebrate this time of the year no matter where you come from or what religion you are affiliated with?

well , I collect a plethora of Christmas movies , and every year I watched them. and add to them.. I am quite picky ,, like today I just got mr st nick with kesley grammar ,, last week I was going to get this Christmas angel movie but at the till I moved it and I heard the dvd jumping all around I sure wasn't going to buy it.. I don't decorate,, hard work lol. that is my tradition, Christmas songs, and movies. and go home to my moms.
one thing I always wanted to remember was sing Christmas songs at Christmas. yet the crappy songs on singstar and rockband 4 was bad.. so I am hoping by Christmas to get a nice karaoke system set up.. to play off my tv.. I will make a separate thread about it.

Sounds perfect to me Holmes. Except maybe the family thing for myself.
My family is hassling me to come there for Christmas, but I want to celebrate it in my own place. I love being with them, but as I get older I like my own company and in my own home I can DO ANYTHING I WANT, WHEN I WANT and WITH WHOM.
I plan to do food galore, watch movies, and listen to music. My Christmas tree is up already and I will make sure to spring clean before it all goes down so by the time it arrives all I have to do is relax and enjoy. Even cooking is something I want to make minimal if possible.
One good thing about one sister is she will cook a fave dish for each person as well as the normal Christmas fare. Mind you, in our part of the world due to it being Summer and very hot, we usually do lots of seafood and cold salads rather than baked or hot food.
So, this year I intend to have cold cuts of Ham and Turkey rather than hot, but will cook my FAVE roast and other meat choices. I will also have cold salads and Seafood like raw fish, prawns, and mussels. As for desserts Pavlova, Brandy snaps, and Christmas Pudding.
For a platter, I have decided on different salami, cheeses, fruit with crackers.
TIME TO MAKE MY OWN TRADITIONS!
