I thought that sense our first newbie circle is getting ready to kick off, that we would work through that spread a little bit today. It is a great one for some self reflection. And sometimes these sort of messages are easier to hear when someone else is the one to point them out. Lets break this spread out
Stop ~
This is an action that you need to stop doing asap. It could be something that we know is bad for us (smoking when you are diagnosed with lung cancer); or it is something that we don't really know that we are doing. (Worrying to much about someone who does not worry about us in return) Either way it is something that we are doing to ourselves that is not helping in any way. It is hindering us in some way. The problem with these types of actions is that they are hard to break. They are habits so engrained in our daily lives that we don't realize are hurting us. It is easy to see others hurting each other; but not what we are doing that hurts ourselves. And that is what this card is meant to point out.
Start ~
This is an action that you need to start doing for yourself. Again it could be something that you are already know, but are needing someone to say point blank to you. (You need to eat more vegetables) But more often then not, this is an action that you either don't really know that you need to start, or you are having a hard time getting started. (you know you need to carve out personal time, but can't find the time to do it). This is something that will greatly benefit you in the near future as well as down the road.
Continue ~
This is something that you are doing well. It is benefiting your life and you need to continue doing it. It could be something that you just started doing, thus needing to keep working at it. It could be something that you are thinking about stopping doing. It could be something that you are working on but not knowing if it is where you should be spending your time. It is just something in your life that you need to keep doing.
